Ukraine calculates the payment from several components: duty, excise based on engine size and type adjusted for age, and VAT on top. Two seemingly similar cars can therefore differ several times over in the final sum — which is why it has to be calculated before the purchase, not after arrival.
Shipped from Montréal or Halifax, by sea to a European port — Gdansk, Klaipeda or Constanta — then overland. The timeline is the sum of two legs; plan for that.
The machine travels enclosed and strapped down, is photographed at loading and is insured. Powersports cannot go any other way: watercraft and snowmobiles ship in containers only.
Export documents in Canada, the Bill of Lading, customs clearance and unloading at the destination port are our responsibility. You do not have to find a broker or deal with a temporary storage warehouse.
We calculate the full turnkey cost before the machine is bought. We do not publish averaged figures: every vehicle is priced differently, and so are shipping and clearance to each country.
