Both use the same engine — the B58 straight-six with 375 hp. So the choice is not about performance but about size, the third row and how the car feels in town.

The X5 is the sweet spot if the third row is rarely or never needed: shorter, more agile, easier in the city. The X7 is taken for a genuine third row an adult can use without compromise, and for executive-level rear seating. With the same engine the X7 is heavier, so it feels a touch calmer — though on the motorway the difference barely registers.
Both are in stock. Tell us the job and the destination country and we will price each turnkey — and say where the difference matters more than the spec sheet suggests.
