Everything you need to know before buying a car or vehicle from Canada: how the process works, what it costs, what you get in the end. If you can't find an answer — ask us directly.
The Canadian market combines several key advantages over the alternatives:
Carfax Canada is a vehicle history database keyed to the VIN. It contains:
We provide a Carfax report for every car before payment. It's a mandatory step in our process — you see everything we see.
Canada is a country of right-side traffic with left-hand-drive cars, like the US and Europe. Every car in our catalogue is left-hand drive and suitable for registration in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Georgia, the UAE and most European countries.
The cost depends on the type of vehicle, the route and the shipping method. Approximate figures:
On top of the freight come: cargo insurance (0.7–1.5% of value), port fees, customs duties in the destination country and last-mile delivery. An exact door-to-door estimate is provided on request for your specific case.
Approximate timelines from dispatch out of our Canadian depot:
Total time from request to handover: 60–90 days (sourcing + purchase + logistics). For custom-order vehicles — up to 90–120 days depending on availability.
Container — the vehicle is packed inside a closed steel container. Maximum protection from water, salt and mechanical damage. Suited to premium cars and motorcycles. Several units can be loaded into one container — savings.
RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) — the car is driven under its own power onto a specialised car carrier and stands in an open hold. Cheaper and simpler to arrange. Suited to SUVs, pickups and large vehicles. Downside: exposure to the marine environment, though this is standard practice.
For ATVs, snowmobiles and motorcycles we usually use a consolidated container — several units from different clients in one 20ft or 40ft.
Yes. After dispatch you receive a Bill of Lading — the document that lets you track the vessel's movement in real time on the carriers' websites (MSC, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd and others). We also keep you informed of arrival at the destination port and the start of customs clearance.
The basic package we prepare on our side:
For customs clearance in the destination country you'll usually need the buyer's passport and tax ID. We recommend and help you choose a local customs broker.
Duties depend on the country of import, engine size, year of manufacture and type of vehicle. Approximately:
For the EAEU (Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan) — when an individual imports a vehicle, an SBKTS (Vehicle Construction Safety Certificate) or OTTS (type approval) is required. We help obtain it through accredited laboratories. Cost: $300–700 USD depending on the model.
For the UAE — a conformity check at Dubai's RTA or ADNOC Abu Dhabi; it usually requires no extra certificates for American/Canadian cars.
For the EU — a COC (Certificate of Conformity) or individual approval is needed. For FCA-certified cars the process is simplified.
The standard payment scheme:
We accept bank transfer (SWIFT), cryptocurrency (USDT/BTC) and Western Union for smaller amounts. The purchase contract is signed before the first payment.
Yes, this is one of our core services. You specify:
We search the Canadian market, find options and send them for your approval. Search time: 2–14 days depending on how rare the model is. We buy new (from a dealer) or used (via auctions and private sales).
We understand this concern and address it through transparency:
New cars (from an authorised dealer in Canada) carry the manufacturer's factory warranty. After export the international warranty is usually retained, though this depends on each brand's policy and the country of import — check for the specific model.
Used cars are sold “as is” under Canadian law. However, we run diagnostics and provide an honest condition report. For used cars an extended warranty can be purchased through Canadian service programmes (Lubrico, Pennzoil Protection Plan and others).
BRP (Can-Am, Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo) is a Canadian company headquartered in Quebec. Vehicles for the Canadian market are built to the highest standards, often with options unavailable on other markets. Canadian dealers service ATVs and snowmobiles for harsh local conditions — which means used units are in excellent technical shape.
An added plus: the Canadian depot always has the very latest models in their top trims (XT-P, X rs, X mr) that may not exist on other markets.
Yes, and it's often even more cost-effective. Snowmobiles are bought in the off-season (May–August) at reduced prices — dealers and sellers are motivated to clear space before the next season. Sea shipping takes 35–50 days, so to receive it by the start of winter (November) it's best to order in July–September.
